Gretchen Hueftle
With a background that spans almost two decades in skilled nursing care, Gretchen's journey is a testament to her dedication and passion for education and healthcare. Her academic achievements, marked by a Master's Degree in Education and dual Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Nebraska, laid a strong foundation for her multifaceted career. Her transition from teaching high school—a role she cherished while her children were small—to focusing on nursing home care, illustrates her adaptability and commitment to serving others. Gretchen's personal life, shared with her husband, children, and grandchildren, reflects the warmth and community spirit she brings to her work at Harvard Rest Haven and The Harvard House.

Beatriz Ledezma
Betty has been with Harvard Rest Haven for 5 years. Her very first job as a CNA was here back in 2014. She returned back in 2019 as a RN and became the DON in 2020. She has grown a lot in her position in these past few years and that is thanks to all of the amazing help she has had from coworkers and residents. She is married and has 3 children. On her downtime she loves to spend time with her family, reading, and working on her side business.

Sharon Ryan
Sharon's journey is a testament to her dedication and adaptability. From her roots in Sutton to her academic achievements at Spencer School of Business, she has shown a remarkable ability to grow and evolve professionally. Her 23 years at Harvard Rest Haven / The Harvard House reflects her commitment and expertise, having seamlessly transitioned from transportation supervisor to HR and payroll, and now excelling as the office manager. Beyond her professional life, Sharon finds joy in the company of her friends and family, cherishing moments with her children and grandchildren. Her passion for travel not only offers her a well-deserved break but also enriches her life with diverse experiences and perspectives.

Tina Buerer
Tina grew up in Kenesaw then graduated from CCC in Kearney as a licensed practical nurse in 1989. Tina has held a variety of positions as an LPN in the last 35 years at Harvard Rest Haven. She started as evening charge nurse then day charge nurse and restorative nurse before becoming the ADON. Her and her husband moved their family to Harvard in 1991, and raised 3 children, Katie, Bradley and Daniel. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, camping and spending time with her 7 grandchildren who keep her busy following all their activities.

Elia Ledezma
Elia is a charge nurse at Harvard Rest Haven as well as Staff Development. She has worked here for 15 years. She started her career here as a dietary aide and in the housekeeping department. After a few years she went into nursing and became a CNA and within a year a Med aide. After working as a CNA and MA, she decided to seek a nursing license and became an LPN. She enjoyed working as a Licensed Practical Nurse but was looking for even more and returned to school for her Registered Nurse license. She is married and has 3 children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, cleaning, calling her family and spending time with her family. She feels that working at Harvard Rest Haven is truly amazing, she gets to do what I loves and I gets to spend time with amazing people. She loves going home at the end of her day, knowing that she made a difference in someone’s life.

Coleena Warnock
Coleena's journey is a testament to the dynamic nature of career paths and personal growth. Born and educated in Hastings, she embarked on a path in education, only to discover her true calling lay elsewhere. Her pivot to healthcare, starting as a CNA and Med Aide, showcases her adaptability and dedication. With 30 years of nursing experience, Coleena has touched many lives across various levels of long-term care. Her transition to Harvard House marked a new chapter, one where the bonds formed with residents go beyond care—they become friendships. This heartwarming encounter with a resident, who foresaw a budding friendship, highlights the profound connections that healthcare professionals like Coleena can forge in their careers. Starting in the laundry department and rising through the ranks to become the Activities Director, she’s shown remarkable commitment and versatility. Her additional qualifications as a CNA and Med Aide, and her role as a bath aide, highlight her multifaceted skill set and willingness to serve wherever needed. Robee has been at the facility for 28 years. She is married with 3 kids who also enjoy spending time with the residents at the nursing home. I enjoy making the residents happy with food, and cooking things they love. We have a variety of items and always take requests.
Maintenance Supervisor
Tim Kral
Tim's journey from Riverside, California, to Harvard, Nebraska, is a testament to the diverse paths life can take. As the Maintenance Supervisor at Harvard Rest Haven, Tim has dedicated nearly a decade to the community, reflecting a strong commitment to his role and the people he serves. Environmental Supervisor
John Lamborn
John has been employed at Harvard Rest Haven since 2020 and serves the facility as the Environmental Supervisor. His role includes enhancing our Resident’s living space to make it as homelike as possible. Balancing such a significant responsibility with the joys and demands of a family of three children and six grandchildren have been very rewarding.
